10 Things We Learned From The New Skyfall Trailer | 9. Bond Gets Around
9. Bond Gets Around

As with any Bond film, Jimmy gets around enough to qualify for an Avios gold card. Skyfall takes him to Istanbul – for the opening sequence, something confirmed by M's half-written obituary, which claims that Bond was 'killed' while on a mission in Turkey – Shanghai, where he appears to make first contact with Severine on his hunt for Silva, and Scotland. One shot sees a helicopter approach a lodge in Scotland – this may be Skyfall Lodge, from which the film takes its name. It could be here where Bond rocks up with a shotgun, a seriously pissed-off expression and, in another nod to Bonds past, an Aston Martin DB5.

1 Mommy?
At 1.40 Silva says: "Mommy was very bad." Just a thought. What if this "mommy" is meant to take literal? Just think about it. More

3 SPOILERS
**Potential Spoilers Ahead (But this is still just pure speculation)** So M orders Bonds 'death' after losing the HDD with the data to all of the undercover MI6 agents out in operation, so that Bond will be presumed dead by the bad guy agencies and can go about his new mission unpeturbed. More

4 Looks very appealing...
Have to say that DC's looking a little old in this and what's going on with his hair?! Vicious side parting or what?! If this movie hits the spot he should stand aside and go out on a high. Hopefully to be replaced by either Chris Nolan/Joe Wright/Danny Boyle and either Christian Bale or Michael Fassbender! More

7 Bond's obituary
The obituary seen on screen is taken, word-for-word (apart from substituting Japan for Turkey) from Chapter 21 of Ian Fleming's 'You Only Live Twice'. The obituary appears in 'The Times' (Bond is described as a senior office of the Ministry of Defence). More

Bond's obit in YOLT makes the papers and I believe they list his accomplishments, and choose a picture, as a naval commander and not a spy. More
