10. The Action Looks Suitably Mental

Any worries that Mendes’ background in both theatre and ‘proper’ films might mean that Skyfall would just be a series of talking heads have been well and truly discounted by the trailer. The opening sequence on the train, featuring Bond-on-a-bike (blah blah something powerful between his legs etc. etc.) and one of the best nonchalant cuff checks in Bond history, looks epic, as does the foot chase on the London Underground that culminates in that shot of a tube train derailing and ploughing through a wall. There are hints of other setpieces – a fight between Bond and an unidentified foe on a frozen lake – but we imagine that there’s a lot more to come from this.

Fancy watching the trailer again?

3 SPOILERS
**Potential Spoilers Ahead (But this is still just pure speculation)** So M orders Bonds 'death' after losing the HDD with the data to all of the undercover MI6 agents out in operation, so that Bond will be presumed dead by the bad guy agencies and can go about his new mission unpeturbed. More

4 Looks very appealing...
Have to say that DC's looking a little old in this and what's going on with his hair?! Vicious side parting or what?! If this movie hits the spot he should stand aside and go out on a high. Hopefully to be replaced by either Chris Nolan/Joe Wright/Danny Boyle and either Christian Bale or Michael Fassbender! More

7 Bond's obituary
The obituary seen on screen is taken, word-for-word (apart from substituting Japan for Turkey) from Chapter 21 of Ian Fleming's 'You Only Live Twice'. The obituary appears in 'The Times' (Bond is described as a senior office of the Ministry of Defence). More
