The Movies Of The Saturday Night Live Cast
Kenan Thompson
The Loudmouth
Tenure The artist formerly known as one half of Kenan & Kel has been on SNL since 2003.
Best characters Like Hammond, Thompson is an SNL star who only occasionally connects with the material. When he does, though, it’s often very funny, although he’s not terribly versatile, with many of his impressions sounding strangely similar. Kudos, though, for his portrayal of sex-mad ex-basketball star, Charles Barkley, and Sir Mixalot.
Where you’ve seen him In Mighty Ducks sequels D2 and D3, not to mention The Master Of Disguise, where he disguised himself as a character called ‘Kenan’. He also played Fat Albert in the ill-advised movie of the same name, and landed the plane with the motherfuckin’ snakes on it in Snakes On A Plane.
Coming up Bizarro comedy, Stan Helsing, which seems to be going straight to DVD.
The next…? Horatio Sanz. A cast member who didn’t pull up any trees on the show, and who won’t pull up any trees with his movie career after the show. But he’ll still get plenty of work.
