The Robots Of Transformers 2
Sideswipe
Not to be confused with the Decepticon, Sideways, Sideswipe is a candy red Lamborghini in the cartoons, but has been turned into a sleek, silver Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Concept for the movie. His brother, Sunstreaker, doesn't appear… this time round, at least.

Gutted that Hotrod isn't in it. He's my son's favourite from the original animated film that he's seen - had to scour high and low for a toy Hotrod for him for Christmas 2007. I figured he'd be introduced in this film. Damnit. Read More

L: gazw24 I also reckon what was so great about the cartoons is that they transformed into normal, everyday cars: VW Beetle, Mini Van etc. all these concept cars stick out like a sore thumb. Transformers: ROBOTS IN DISGUISE THAT YOU CAN SEE COMING FROM A MILE AWAY. going to ruin my favourite thing from my childhod! ]   Did he tell you santa Doesn't exist?   Because Iwas dreading going to see the first one, I took in beers thinking that I would need them to enjoy big robots twatting eachother for two hours, but It was funny and entertaining grater than the warm glow your mind has built around the cartoon, If I saw a transfer of the cartoon up on screen it would be cheesy as hell, 'Godzilla' remake style awful.    Read More

Posted on Saturday April 11, 2009, 10:19 by onyx79
I am sad to say that I came accross pictures on another sites of another bunch of Transformers, and one of them is Megatron, who, this time around, transforms into a tank. Please Mr Bay, do not mess this one up. The rest of the robots look pretty sweet too, especially the fallen. Oh and I've seen confirmation that the robot that pins Sam to the floor is Starscream *hides behind his couch*   Picture evidence: Read More

Cannot wait to see this film, hopefully it will live up to expectations and Ratchet (arf!) up the action from the first one. Jetfire is a particularly welcome addition, though I agree with several of the posts that the Twins could be an own goal. Still, bring on the Bayhem! Read More

16 POSSIBLE SPOILERS - RUMOUR
Posted on Saturday April 4, 2009, 09:44 by absolute_im_fan
After hearing one character could possibly be a Decepticon, I was wondering if there are any other Decepticons? Or can Decepticons disguise themselves as any gender? Read More

Posted on Friday April 3, 2009, 21:04 by gazw24
Its true, Barricade just dissapeared into thin air in the first movie. Where he went is anyones guess. As for wheelie now bieng a decepticon, it just beggars belief. I was of the understanding that Kurtzman and orci (script writers) were massive fans of the cartoon as kids. clearly not. you would have thought they would have at least done a little bit of research and try just a little to keep the fan boys happy by adding hotrod into the line up. Or any other that was at least in the original cartoons. Bayhem my arse. spielberg should do it. Read More

19 Product placement
Posted on Friday April 3, 2009, 15:06 by GrahamKevin1984
This product placement is really doing my head in, changing the characters just to suit sponsors! Even creating new characters! Instead of having the twins, we could have had Hot Rod! Im surprised Soundwave isnt an Apple ipod or something. Read More

20 Lookin Good!
Posted on Friday April 3, 2009, 14:43 by Balloo the dog
This looks like the one to see this summer, loved the first so this should be just as good especially having seen that Devastator is in it!   Like the ideas and concepts of an old man transformer with a stick , and the twins look pretty different as well! Read More

21 All Hail Lord Megatron!
Posted on Friday April 3, 2009, 13:21 by dgribble
Big M better be back, it just won't be a good movie without the human desting, Optimus Prime ass kicking Megatron. However like the last movie, I'm not that excited seeing as how they are/have been other movies out the this year I'm more exicted about. Wheelie is a Decepticon now?   Nothing makes sense anymore. I can't tell left from right and up from down.   Also - ? always gets the mickey taken out of him by the others. Not exactly a name that evokes fear in people. Read More

26 The Doctor
Posted on Thursday April 2, 2009, 17:24 by waltham1979

29 too much?
Posted on Thursday April 2, 2009, 16:48 by talltom
I'm really looking forward to this, and some great additions to the line up (very excited about Jetfire!), just a little concerned that there may be too many robots - if such a thing is possible! - for this to work well. Especially concerned about the new 'twins' - surely there must be enough of the original characters left to choose from without venturing into uncharted territory? Worried they may let the side down, but hoping of course to proved wrong over the course of the anticipated Total Bayhem! Read More
