I also reckon what was so great about the cartoons is that they transformed into normal, everyday cars: VW Beetle, Mini Van etc. all these concept cars stick out like a sore thumb. Transformers: ROBOTS IN DISGUISE THAT YOU CAN SEE COMING FROM A MILE AWAY.

Because Iwas dreading going to see the first one, I took in beers thinking that I would need them to enjoy big robots twatting eachother for two hours, but It was funny and entertaining grater than the warm glow your mind has built around the cartoon, If I saw a transfer of the cartoon up on screen it would be cheesy as hell, 'Godzilla' remake style awful. I am sad to say that I came accross pictures on another sites of another bunch of Transformers, and one of them is Megatron, who, this time around, transforms into a tank. Please Mr Bay, do not mess this one up. The rest of the robots look pretty sweet too, especially the fallen. Oh and I've seen confirmation that the robot that pins Sam to the floor is Starscream *hides behind his couch*

Its true, Barricade just dissapeared into thin air in the first movie. Where he went is anyones guess. As for wheelie now bieng a decepticon, it just beggars belief. I was of the understanding that Kurtzman and orci (script writers) were massive fans of the cartoon as kids. clearly not. you would have thought they would have at least done a little bit of research and try just a little to keep the fan boys happy by adding hotrod into the line up. I'm really looking forward to this, and some great additions to the line up (very excited about Jetfire!), just a little concerned that there may be too many robots - if such a thing is possible! - for this to work well. Especially concerned about the new 'twins' - surely there must be enough of the original characters left to choose from without venturing into uncharted territory? Worried they may let the side down, but hoping of course to proved wrong over the course of the anticipated Total Bayhem! Read More
