The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (2001-2003)
With every last one of them cast to perfection (even the 6 foot plus 'dwarf' that was John Rhys-Davies) this ensemble group is a joy to behold. Extra marks go for managing to wear wigs all that time - they have got to be bloody itchy - and for getting along so well that the nine members of the Fellowship went out and got matching tattoos (the Elvish rune for 9, so rumour has it).
