Hot Fuzz
Wright, Pegg and Frost's second big-screen outing succeeded because it was as much about crafting hilarious characters as it was spoofing action movies. It was comedy without cruelty and, possibly best of all, it gave Timothy Dalton a role better than Bond.

Best Bit: The fence gag still does it for us.
