Casino Royale is considered a reboot to the Bond franchise. The film focusses on Bond's FIRST mission as a double-0 agent and his FIRST interactions with Felix Leiter.
Then again, if "Leiter eventually recovers – his leg grows back and he turns into Jeffrey Wright" was meant to be a joke, then it backfired as far as I'm concerned. More

I think what pissed Creasey (Man on Fire) off was the fact that he was suicidal when he took the job, looking after little Pita. She brought him back, gave him hope and a spark of new life. Then she was taken, and all of Mexico couldn't stand in his way.
Worthy additions Grindhouse classics (+remakes) The Last House on the Left (did I leave something in the microwave?) and I Spit on Your Grave (crows + bath + garden shears).
