Tin Toy (1988) This was based on footage that Lasseter's sister took of his nephew, Timmy, who sat cheerily slobbering over each of his toys in turn before replacing them and going on to the next. Hence Lasseter created this ambitious story where the baby is a terrifying monster from a toy's-eye view.
