A Bug's Life (1998) The most difficult film that Pixar has ever made, according to those who worked on it, A Bug's Life was saved when Andrew Stanton went away and, on his own time, rewrote the script entirely before offering it to the flummoxed story team. This story worked, the film ceased to be stalled and that difficult second film proved a massive hit.
