Gary Oldman
Gary's a brilliant suggestion! He'd make an excellent Dr Strange. Also, maybe Tim Roth? Though he was already in the Incredible Hulk... I agree with whoever said Bowie too ... Read More

And now for something completely different.
How about Paddy Considine? He's put in an excellent performance in all the diverse roles he's played. He certainly could give a serious, nuanced, mysterious performance without being ponderous. He would be an interesting left-field choice. Of course he probably isn't 'hollywood' enough and is probably to much of an actor and not enough of a 'star'. In terms of where is career is, this could be a perfect role for him. ... Read More

I would have to go with Nathan Fillion. He's the right age and build, and he's got the comic timing to make this kind of ridiculous character work. ... Read More

I like the Jeff Goldblum suggestion someone made earlier - maybe he's a little old (and not incredibly bankable) though. How about Crispin Glover? Also not bankable, but still. ... Read More

some1 say clive owen!
holy moly , clive owen is a ballon him and that Jude law fool both went and got a personality amputation. strange is a big big charector so he needs some1 with charector to play him. DEPP would be superb and i think if he is at all familer with the comics then he will want to do it.. my only concern is that if depp is attached then that other monumentel bluffer Tim burton will stick his boring boring oar in. i wish that nonsence that was the fantastic 4 had not ruined the charector of Dr Doom c... Read More

Jim Carrey To Be Dr Strange
I like this list, but you chose mostly already super-hero characters. I think it has been proven from The Truman Show and the Number 23 that Jim Carrey can definitely act. As long as the script isn't made into a stupid comedy, he could be brilliant in such a serious role. ... Read More

Who's going to play Dr.Strange?
I agree with Guy Pearce, but at the same time I dont. I dont see how (After memento, where he played a very methodical and conditioned character) he could play such a wirey and estranged character. I am not feeling Guy Pearce tbh. Why would you suggest Robert Downey Jr. Not Jim Carey either. He wouldnt resist his comedy side to it, disasterr. Who ever suggested Hugh Jackman is so far off the mark. I cannot see him playing Dr. Strange remotely. As sad as this is, I can imagine J... Read More
