The fuzz buzz: Sam Elliot never looks quite right without some form of countenance decoration (check out his tache-less turn in We Were Soldiers), so it's always nice to see him weighed down with the same awesome upper lip appendage that he wore in the Coen brothers' brilliant comedy. Like some kind of symbiotic relationship, both The Stranger and his handlebar share the same laconic approach to the world - laidback, unflappable and pretty damn slick.

Hair style? A solid and stoic handlebar as grey as the hair on this silver fox's head.
