What happened? England's finest spy is always getting into scrapes and clashes. But it's only more recently that the likes of Daniel Craig and Pierce Brosnan have been allowed to show Bond feeling his pain.

We bet Craig didn't really want to feel it quite as much as he did on Quantum Of Solace, though - during the filming of one stunt, he sliced the tip off one finger. "There was quite a lot of blood and it was decided he needed to go to hospital for emergency treatment," explained a member of the Bond production team to the Daily Mail.

Cue whispers that the film was cursed… Which might be true for its critical reception, but it still did decent business at the box office.
