Who got hurt? Hilary Swank

What happened? You'd think that a relaxed rom-com with Gerard Butler might be the last place you could get injured. But don't count out King Leonidas and his cunning weaponised… braces?

It's true - during a scene in which the randy hubby performs a striptease for wife Swank, the item of clothing (clearly not a fan of The Reaping) suddenly attacked. "Hilary was fantastic, she has no ego and is really down to earth, so accomplished and talented. But I did try to kill her! It was with my braces."

"I cleverly managed to get the clip stuck behind me on this cupboard, the elastic was at full stretch, and I didn't realise. It unclipped itself, smacked her forehead and she went down like she'd been shot. Two inches more and it could have taken her eye out, really, the thing was so sharp." A quick trip to the emergency room and some stitches and she was back on set with an apologetic Butler.
