Shattered Sly

Who got hurt? Sylvester Stallone

What happened? Despite being 63 years-old, Sly Stallone doesn't want to hang up his action credentials just yet. He's lined up another Rambo outing and he's putting the finishing touches to OTT tough guys extravaganza The Expendables even now.

But he might want to think about a stunt double a bit more often as, during shooting on The Expendables, he suffered a rather nasty neck injury. "My fight with Stone Cold Steve Austin was so vicious that I ended up getting a hairline fracture in my neck," he blabbed to Times Live.

"I'm not joking. I haven't told anyone this, but I had to have a very serious operation afterwards. I now have a metal plate in my neck."

Bet that's fun to go through airport security with. Insert your own joke about human growth hormone pills here.
