If you fancy breaking bread with Robert Downey Jr., Drew Barrymore or (gulp) Joe Pesci, head to West Hollywood and Robert De Niro's trattoria, Ago (pronounced "AH-go", if you're going by cab). The actor's third culinary venture, after the Tribeca Grill and Nobu, serves home-style cooking just like mamma would make, especially if mamma happens to be from Tuscany. De Niro and Agostino Sciandri's restaurant has played host to its share of deal-making down the years: it was over the Ago fritto misto that Michael Mann, Will Smith and Mohammed Ali shook hands on the movie that would become Ali. When Ali walked in, the restaurant rose to give him a standing ovation.
