As the man who had the Corleone family take time out from a brutal turf war to make meatballs, you'd expect Francis Ford Coppola to be a bit of a foodie, and so it proves. He owns restaurants, hotels (two in Belize alone, and in return he serves as Honorary Consul for Belize in San Francisco), a pasta sauces range and a doner kebab van (OK, we made up the kebab van). His award-winning Californian vineyard started turning out wine in 1977. That year miscellaneous Coppolas sloshed about in grape juice to turn out the first vintage, and every year since the Coppola clan have gathered for a party to celebrate the harvest. It's only a matter of time till one of them makes a film about it.
