Depending on what you read, Patrick Swayze – the actor so memorably dubbed The Swizzle by Smash Hits – may have only a matter of weeks left to live, after losing his battle with cancer. If that day does come this year, it will be a sad one indeed, for Swayze, particularly in his heyday around the late 80s/early 90s, was the sort of leading man they rarely make: a true man's man, who was at ease with the physicality required for action movies like Road House, Red Dawn or Next Of Kin, but who had a softer side, showcased in Dirty Dancing and Ghost, that made women melt at the very mention of his name. And let's face it – She's Like The Wind fucking rocked.

The bit where he does his own theme tune is classic! So if you haven't seen it yet peeps, get a copy! Read More
