Jason Patric
OK, we're cheating a little with this one, but the fundamental building blocks of the word, 'Patrick' are in his surname, so no harm, no foul. Patric, of course, burst onto the scene in The Lost Boys, his brooding Jim Morrison-esque good looks seemingly paving the way for a career as a screen idol. But that's not what Patric – a fine actor and serious-minded man – wanted, instead racking up the likes of The Beast, Rush, Sleepers, Narc and Your Friends & Neighbours on an impressive, if heavy-going, CV. And the one time he took the Yankee dollar? Speed 2: Cruise Control. No wonder the 42 year-old steers clear of blockbusters.
