Audiences coming out of Shanley's latest movie, the depressfest Doubt, might have been forgiven for checking his CV and wondering where the hell that came from. For the 58 year-old writer/director has spent much of his Hollywood career writing outlandish fantasies (Congo) and comedies (Joe Vs The Volcano, Moonstruck). But Doubt, which first saw the light of day as a critically-acclaimed play, resurrected the career of the finest directing Patrick.

Although I love Mr Stewart, I have to go with Patrick Warburton - fantastic as The Tick he also showed up in the criminally underated Disney film The Emperors New Groove as Kronk, the all muscle, no brain sidekick.
