Back before he became a big-brained playwright and Oscar-nominated screenwriter, London-born Marber was perhaps best known for making us laugh until we were sick as hapless reporter Peter O'Hanraha-hanrahan on The Day Today (“It's a cobweb!”). Thankfully, amidst all the Closers and Notes On A Scandals, he hasn't lost sight of his roots – he's been linked with scriptwriting duties on the eagerly-awaited Alan Partridge movie. Aha!

Although I love Mr Stewart, I have to go with Patrick Warburton - fantastic as The Tick he also showed up in the criminally underated Disney film The Emperors New Groove as Kronk, the all muscle, no brain sidekick.
