Patrick Marber

Back before he became a big-brained playwright and Oscar-nominated screenwriter, London-born Marber was perhaps best known for making us laugh until we were sick as hapless reporter Peter O'Hanraha-hanrahan on The Day Today (“It's a cobweb!”). Thankfully, amidst all the Closers and Notes On A Scandals, he hasn't lost sight of his roots – he's been linked with scriptwriting duties on the eagerly-awaited Alan Partridge movie. Aha!

Although I love Mr Stewart, I have to go with Patrick Warburton - fantastic as The Tick he also showed up in the criminally underated Disney film The Emperors New Groove as Kronk, the all muscle, no brain sidekick.  The bit where he does his own theme tune is classic!  So if you haven't seen it yet peeps, get a copy!
