Patrick Warburton is a colossus, a maestro, a God amongst men. A naturally funny character actor, with a penchant for idiosyncratic line readings in a voice so deep you could hide a nuclear sub in it, he is and always shall be welcome round Empire Towers purely because he was… The Tick. Star of the most criminally cancelled sitcom in history, Warburton's perfect portrayal of the clueless big blue bug of justice is something you should seek out immediately, if only to hear the way he delivers lines like, 'A secret message… from my teeth!' Genius. Utter, utter genius. How he was never a bigger movie star, we'll never know… when he does show up in films like the wonderful The Dish and Barry Sonnenfeld's Big Trouble, he's always great value. Gah!

Although I love Mr Stewart, I have to go with Patrick Warburton - fantastic as The Tick he also showed up in the criminally underated Disney film The Emperors New Groove as Kronk, the all muscle, no brain sidekick. The bit where he does his own theme tune is classic! So if you haven't seen it yet peeps, get a copy! Read More
