While talking on the kitchen phone to her errant foster-son, John Connor, Janelle Voight (played by Cameron regular, Jenette Goldstein) is irked when her husband, Todd (Xander Berkeley) complains about their dog’s incessant barking. Calmly switching hands, she jerks out an offscreen arm. When the phone call is finished, Cameron pulls back to reveal that Janelle is in fact the T-1000 – and its arm has pierced a stunned, still-twitching Todd to the fridge, carton of milk still in mid-air. Examining its handiwork with a detached air, the T-1000 then morphs back into the Robert Patrick, a special effect that – back in '91 – felt like the second coming.
