Colin Farrell’s charismatic, twitchy, gurning nutjob Bullseye is, without doubt, the best thing about Mark Steven Johnson’s comic book movie - mainly because he gets to have fun. An Irish assassin who can kill with just about anything that comes to hand, he proves this while flying across the Atlantic on his way to kill The Man Without Fear. Stuck in an economy seat (couldn’t he afford business?), Bullseye is forced to endure the endless prattling of an old biddy next to him, until he strikes upon the capital idea of flicking a peanut off his seatback table, ricocheting it into her throat precisely at the right angle to kill. And, as she breathes her last, he calmly asks the stewardess for "more peanuts". Let’s face it – we’ve all thought about it..
