Ong-Bak followed village boy Ting (Tony Jaa) on his quest to retrieve the head of his homes sacred statue, where he is drawn into a whole gangland underworld - where his prize fighting skills emerge to serve him well. But the best finishing move was not inside the ring for Ting, but during a shoot-out after a high speed tuk-tuk chase. Having landed in some highly flammable liquid behind a row of oil-tanks, our hero flies from the flames, propelled forward with knees like knives and feet of fire - literally: his legs are actually on fire. Fighting the gang of bikers, including some still wearing helmets, he utilises this hotness to his advantage - performing a perfect spinning scissor kick to his opponents neck and leaving him and leaving him afire with fury. This muay thai fancy footwork, courtesy of the 27 year-old Tony Jaa, brought him to the attention of the world as the next martial arts superstar to watch.
