Emboldened by the success of the first X-Men, Bryan Singer felt confident enough second time around to give the fans what they wanted: namely, Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine embarking upon a berserker rage - and it happens in the first fifteen minutes, when the X-mansion is attacked by Stryker’s military goons. While the leap from a balcony, claws outstretched, is the most eye-catching moment, the best kill is his first, as a Special Ops-type about to take down Iceman (Shawn Ashmore) finds himself against Wolverine instead, slammed up against a fridge, and then Wolvie pops his claws straight into the guy's chest. Ouch.
