Composed by John Barry, Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newly, Goldfinger’s midas touch would have a lasting impact on Shirley Bassey’s lung-busting career. She recorded two more Bond themes and, the same year as Goldfinger, the theme for Bond spoof The Liquidator. Seems the formula was already ripe for parody.
