2 So when do we get the prequels?
There's a big gap in the narrative between the end of Young Indy and the start of Temple of Doom - 15 years of potential prequels material. Bring it on. But keep George Lucas away from the typewriter. More

3 Young Indy Chronicles - 1908-1920
the Young Indy series includes adventures during WW1 and follows Indy up to the age of 21. So it overlaps with the prologue of Last Crusade and goes up to 1920. You should make the effort to flesh out this timeline with all of that detail too. More
