Remake Or Original: A Horror Poster Face-Off
Invasion of the Body Snatchers

This is a tough pairing. Both films play with the concept of alien beings imperceptibly invading - that hand print riffing on the loss of the individuality that finger prints provide, we're guessing, while the roots image on the other is obvious. The 1956 original, however, is more frantic and frenetic, both because of that running couple and because of that exclamatory font. 1978's going more for the creepy angle.
