9 Creepy Horror Kids — Then And Now | Miko Hughes
Miko Hughes

Film: Pet Semetary (1989)

Then: As Gage Creed, the kiddie from Pet Sematary, Hughes came back… changed. As in, murderous and evil. Still, that didn’t hold him back from a career in Hollywood (it’s encouraged) and he went on to appear in Kindergarten Cop, Wes Craven’s New Nightmare, Spawn, Mercury Rising and Baby Geniuses, among others.

Now: Hughes is still working, if a little more sporadically. He popped up for an uncredited role in Tropic Thunder and worked on horror pic Remains. He’s also directed one short in portmanteau pic Chilling Visions: 5 Senses Of Fear. Horror… You never can quite escape it, can you? BTW: Church, the resurrected cat from Sematary, is now a wedding DJ working under the name Paws The Music.

1 What about that blue kid from The Grudge?
He's pretty creepy too!. Also I think the shirt of Haley Joel Osment could use a wash :) Actually, I've made exactly the same kind of article, except it's an infographic, maybe that'll interest you: http://www.horroronscreen.com/?p=7829 More

4 Horror has definitely changed
I wonder if all these kids were subjected to the same crap Linda Blair had to deal with after the Exorcist, she was forced to move out her town as people though she was really possesed. Some of these kids have etched fear onto the minds of many an adult and child after seeing these movies. I hope they are proud of this achievement. Such a shame that they all seem to have been dropped after they made the studios millions, as it the sad fact with most child actors. But I enjoyed the above feature and its good to find out where they are all now. Wasn't there a similar feature previously in Empire's magazine each month on the Where are they now..... More
