Aren't you an European, and for that matter, an tionalne, and should therefore use ernational Phonetic Alphabet Americans just ] to stick doing things their own way, with their "US customary units", "American Sign Language" and this abomination that is useful to non-native English speakers. In my country, they started teaching us the IPA symbols on the i] grade. And that was years ago!
