Seven Great Movie Tennis Matches | Octopussy (1983)
Octopussy (1983)
The Players: Agent James Bond (Roger Moore) and 007's ally Vijay (real life tennis star Vijay Amritraj).

Key Spectators: The denizens of India.

Oh I Say! Chased by the henchman of ,Gobinda (Kabir Bedi) Vijay fends off the baddies by hitting them with his tennis racquet, appropriate sound effects sliced in. In an inspired joke, the crowd on the streets look one way, then the other as if following a rally on Centre Court. The break point comes when Vijay smashes the racquet over henchman's head forcing the jeep to career out of control. "Game, set and match," says Vijay.

Tips for any younger players watching: Don't go into acting when your career's finished.
