What with this and Jimmy Kimmel's long-running I'm Fucking Matt Damon skit, Damon is going a long way towards reminding people that there's a lot more to him than the po-faced Jason Bourne. He and McConaughey, the ultimate surfer dude, roomed together as struggling actors and, as he tells David Letterman here, the time wasn't entirely wasted. Damon nails McConaughey's laidback Southern drawl - love the way he pronounces Soderbergh - and his obsession with taking his shirt off. A reference to playing bongos in the nude would have made this the Greatest Impression Of A Movie Star By A Movie Star Of All Time Ever. And that's a coveted title.

I, too, thought this was going to be movie stars doing movie stars and so the posing of the Matt Damon one and the Kevin Spacey one pleased me greatly even though I had seen them before. However, the Walken one had me in stitches and my collegues had to come over and see what the hell was going on. The rest weren't that interesting, however good they were. Read More
