Planescape: Torment
Original Story: In the curious inter-dimensional city of Sigil a nameless, tattooed man wakes up on a mortuary slab with no memory and a talking skull for company. Oh and he's immortal.
Movie Treatment: Torment is an utterly bizarre experience from start to finish, featuring a burning man, a collective consciousness of rats and a brothel where the women stimulate their clientele intellectually (as if!). It's a demented concoction of ideas and who better to take it on than master of the surreal David Lynch?
Guaranteed Crowdpleaser: The many and varied ways the Nameless One meets his maker - or rather doesn't - and wakes up shortly after with another scar for the collection.
