Mrs. Parker And The Vicious Circle (1994) F. Scott Fitzgerald makes a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance in Alan Rudolph’s tangy Dorothy Parker biopic. Malcolm Gets plays the writer on one of his frequent visits to a Algonquin Round Table that’s presided over regally by Dorothy Parker. Inevitably, the film belongs to Jennifer Jason Leigh’s portrayal of the great wit, but it’s interesting to see the wiseacre, socialite side of Fitzgerald as he mingles with his fellow thinkers. It’s basically The Bon Mot Avengers.
