submit to reddit

The trailer for Neill Blomkamp’s follow-up to 2009’s District 9, Elysium, arrived this week, accompanied by a poster and a flurry of stills. In the teaser, the world got its first chance to see how he’s taken Matt Damon, Jodie Foster and Wikus van der Merwe himself, Sharlto Copley, to the end of the world as we know it. Here below, with exclusive quotes from Blomkamp himself, we guide you through the secrets of 2154 AD.

1 Phew!
@heymish96 I'm so glad someone else agrees. I know this is going to a be a great film, but the trailer is just so boring and doesn't really show much apart from things crashing. Sometimes less is more, this time less is boring! More
