WHAT IS JFK’S MUTANT POWER?

X-Men: Days Of Future Past Secrets Explained

“The notion was that Trask was a little bit involved in the assassination of JFK. I’m just telling you back story, it’s not in the movie, but Trask identified that JFK was a mutant, and then the people that wanted JFK killed for all their political reasons, whoever it actually was who actually killed him, they were motivated by the fact that this guy was a mutant. So Eric got wind of that, and tried to stop them, but there were too many of them.

“We talked about what JFK’s power was for quite a bit, and my answer for you may be a bit obvious and not that smart, but it’s a telepathy, a mind-control, the ability to persuade people to do things. There were other theories from other people that were slightly more… tawdry.”

1 Wolverine to have Adimantium or not
"THE WOLVERINE" SPOILERS AHEAD FOR ANYONE WHO HASNT SEEN THE LAST WOLVERINE MOVIE Okay so Wolverine's just not going to have Adimantium anymore? If Simon Kinberg wanted to leave his story on a brighter note why even have Stryker there if it was just going to be Mystique? why was she Stryker? why wasnt she just some bum officer? ** The interview is over an hour so I didn't finish the whole thing, if he went into more detail later on my apologies and someone please let me know what part they mention it at so I can skip** Also how the hell did Wolverine have Adimantium in the future if this takes place after The Wolverine * in which his claws get cut off and grow back as bones * they didn't explain that...I assume Magneto just stretched the left over Adimantium over his bones to give him claws again but it'd be nice if they explained that a little. 2 RE: My Logical Explanations for Various 'Plot Holes'
An even more logical explanation, Bolivar Trask is a time travelling alien. He arrives on earth shortly after the events of 'First Class' and starts messing with the timeline by capturing and experimenting on the mutants, then has JFK assassinated when he finds out and tries to stop him. So therefore everything that happens after 'First Class' is now open to revision, similar to Reboot 'Star Trek'. This also explains how he could build sentient robots in 1973. He's also a shapeshifter. More

3 My Logical Explanations for Various 'Plot Holes'
X-Men Days of Future Past: Logical Explanations for Various 'Plot Holes' http://thethinktankguideforsmarterliving.blogspot.sg/20 14/05/x-men-days-of-future-past-explanations.html How did Professor X come back from the dead in a wheelchair? He might have been able to get into Phoenix's mind just before she tore him apart at her childhood home. He programmed/controlled her mind to use her powers to reassemble his body together somewhere far away from the house. Someone spotted the newly reconstructed but wounded Xavier and sent him to the hospital to get treated and wrapped up. Since the memory of his body is one that cannot walk, the reassembled Professor X would also be wheelchair-ridden. Why does the future Wolverine have metal claws when those got cut off when he was in Japan? The young Japanese woman that went on to inherit her grandfather's fortunes and become Japan's most powerful and richest woman, might have used the technology and the adamantium left behind bMore

4 RE: Rogue's Storyline
They had a miniscule moment at the end of X3 where they showed Magneto's power returning to him - he was able to make a chess piece move without touching it...that could have explained Rogue's powers returning? Re: Xavier's return - the post-credits sting in X3 showed him speaking from the comatose body in Moira McTaggarts hospital More

5 Logan's memory
Ok, there's a lot of timeline discrepancies that you have to accept, but one that I'm having trouble with is how Logan remembers nothing past 1973. If future Logan's consciousness was sent back to 1973, then when the future was re-written, the future consciousness would remain in the 1973 Logan, overwriting it the 1973 Logan. So this explains how Logan is the only one to know what would have happened in the future. But Logan would then live his life from 1973 to the new present so I don't understand how he woke up as a teacher not knowing how he got there and having no knowledge of history past 1973. Did he just disappear between 1973 and the present? Obviously not as Raven retrieved him from underwater, so he was alive and must have memories.... confusing! More

6 RE: X-Men: Days Of Future Past’s Secrets Explained
Agree with MrFungilicious. WTF are we meant to just accept X as being alive when we saw him die in the last movie he was in !? More

7 RE: X-Men: Days Of Future Past’s Secrets Explained
My main issue is, if we've seen 2023 "Happy Mansion" X-Men already then we know that all ends up okay after late 70s based Age of Apocalypse disaster movie! More

9 Apocalypse Casting
Can we make sure that Apocalypse is cast correctly? Meaning that in the comics his features are more Black African. Broad nose and such. Cause thats what he looks like and has been portrayed as. The boy at the end credits isn't black. Thats my two cents because they aren't that many well written 'black' villains so lets not white-wash this one. More

11 RE: Rogue's Storyline
not a bad idea. but i the problem is Rogue had that Anti Mutant X serum thing in last stand so she had not powers for that to happen. and speaking of the Sentinels they made them overly too powerful. what i felt would have been better would have been the guys in the future constantly being on the run from the sentinels, so theirs a constant menace on the hunt. and gives the sense of emending doom at every moment rather than just waiting around with the help of some fog to keep you hidden. 13 Rogue's Storyline
What would have served the story better is seeing (explaining) the evolution of the Sentinels and how they adapt to other powers, by Trask capturing and analysing Rogue's DNA as well as Mystique. Mystique can adapt in terms of appearance, but Rogue can take on powers, in the same was as the Sentinels could in the battle sequences set in the future. More
