A sci-fi epic four years in the making, Avatar will redefine the action movie spectacle (and all in iris-popping 3D) with James Cameron bringing a soulful bent to his extraterrestrial adventure. The baron of the blockbuster told us about balancing the power of technology with a classic tale of spirituality and shimmering rainforests. But will there be a nuke? Watch the video after the jump to find out....

Great to see Jim back doing movies again and Avartar appears to be the new benchmark in BIG movies. The success of this will tell us a lot about what to expect in the Tintin, and possibly The Hobbit, movies too. Comic-Con seems a great place to go and see what we shall be looking forward to in entertaiment (whether movies, tv, or comics), but I hate to be reporting from it given by the mass of mikes and cameras fighting to get space. I do not envy you Chris.

This was a pretty good interview, you can see that it looks like it was one guy's interview and every other person was trying to latch onto it. But still Cameron kept his composure and gave us some real insight in what is the biggest movie of the year. Ah, Comic Con, what a giant beast you have become, devouring all sorts of great media entertainment, and how we love you for it!

That's exactly what happened. At one point, so many microphones were suddenly pointed at my face that I thought the whole thing had turned into a [VERY RUDE JOKE].
