The Biggest Surprises Of Comic-Con 2013 | 3. Duncan Jones Debuts Warcraft 'Mood piece'
3. Duncan Jones Debuts Warcraft 'Mood piece'

There was an odd little moment halfway through Warner's presentation when Legendary Pictures head Thomas Tull called to say he was running late and offered some footage as an apology. Playing without introduction, it showed a man standing on a blasted waste, drinking the last of his water and scavenging a shield from a corpse. But it was only when the camera revealed his opponent, a troll-like figure holding a war hammer that the crowd went wild. This was the first concept footage for Duncan Jones' World Of Warcraft movie, and the director followed to assure the crowd that he knows how lucky he is to be doing it, that he's stopped playing the game so much so that he can focus on making it, and that things are moving forward. All good things, because the WOW fans might just march him off to the deepest dungeon on Azeroth if he doesn't manage to pull it off. Read the full story.

"What we saw raised hopes that the Spider-sequel will be more defined and muscular THAT the first film," surely THAN is the operable word here? Don't mind me I'm just saying, I mean you wouldn't want to look unprofessional would you? More

2 Dangerous Move
They need to do it right, it sounds good but it's easy for them to go wrong here. Nevertheless it's an interesting move and it would be exciting to see the outcome. More

3 Bad idea
Not sure/happy about having a Supes sequel with Batman in it, fine if they did a standard Superman sequel then a standalone film with Batman like Avengers, but I feel its just a marketing ploy to relaunch a new Batman actor and will diminish the new superman legacy etc More

5 RE: Batman/Superman
I don't get this whole 'Superman's would make Batman redundant' line of thinking. There's been a number of crossovers done in the past. The 'Public Enemies' storyline for instance which is really good and the 'World's Finest' episodes from Superman TAS. If the characters couldn't combine, then I hardly think they would've survived past the first crossover. More

6 Batman/Superman
If they were going to include batman in the Man of Steel sequel, then it was silly of them to make Superman as invincible as he was. I mean, he could lift ships. While Batman is a more interesting character altogether, he would sadly, get squished by Batman in a second, and would be a useless companion. More
