High Fidelity, The Apartment, Breakfast at Tiffany's all belong on that list rather than Titanic or 500 Days of Bollo... I mean Summer. Even the ultimate male bonding film Brokeback Mountain makes more sense than those two.
And aren't Frat Pack movies like The 40-year-old Virgin, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, I Love You Man and Knocked Up all love stories in their own way?

The manliest musical that ever there was, and I'll prove it in three words: Marlon. Muthafucking. Brando. And young badass Brando, too, not Marlon the Hutt. Also, the songs are great - "Guys and Dolls", and "Sit Down, You're Rocking The Boat". And, vitally for The Lads, it's massively quotable - "Daddy, I got cider in my ear..." Read More

After reading this feature I was really annoyed that Lost In Translation was not mentioned. OK it is a bit of a soppy film but that is only to women. To most guys I have spoken to it is a film that has Scarlett Johanssen in her underwear and the comedic legend that is Bill Murray. It is also impressive due to its realistic ending. This is a classic film that really should have made it onto the list. You can even classify it as a mystery if needed. What does he say to her at the end?! Read More
