A Brief History Of Open Legs Movie Posters | Small Soldiers
Small Soldiers

Released: 1998
Director: Joe Dante
Starring: Gregory Smith, Kirsten Dunst, Frank Langella, Tommy Lee Jones

A little bit of variation here, because it’s a pair of child’s legs! In baggy-ish ‘90s jeans! This one has an excuse for its leg-centricity, because it ‘s trying to establish the fact that the warring live toys at the heart of the plot, the Gorgonites and Commando Elite are rather small – hence the title.

8 Broken Lizard!
Seriously, the Broken Lizard movies often have a pair of long legs on the posters. Super Troopers being the main culprit, Puddle Cruiser I suppose is more of a midriff shot, Club Dread is more a full body shot from behind and Beerfest has two women, legs apart on each edge of the poster. More

9 Kingpin
I can't believe you actually think that Vanessa Angel's pose in the Kingpin poster is a Photoshop disaster - it's a joke, playing on the very poster design trope covered by this article! More
