Spotify Playlist: Now That's What I Call... Breaking Bad!
The best songs to feature on Vince Gilligan's masterpiece

submit to reddit

Edgar Wright, Quentin Tarantino, Richard Curtis... previous Spotify playlists on Empire Online have centred around directors, but Breaking Bad is a special case. As well as its montages, POV shots, cold opens, cliffhangers and ingenious MacGyver moments, there has always been an incredibly good playlist underneath it all, getting bigger and bigger as each episode has come out. And now that the show's over, the meth-fuelled mixtape is complete. Here it is for you in all its addictive glory: from the theme tune to the immortal 'Heisenberg Song'. Top listening tip: don't do drugs.

1 Track from pilot episode...
A shame you didn't include this little gem from Molotov, titled 'Apocalypshit'. You can hear it being played towards the end of the pilot episode when Walt is driving the RV, panic stricken through the desert just before he crashes it! Check it out!... http://youtu.be/yjWtxTTuhrQ More

5 Up the Junction
Awesome scene in S5E8 -- they're around the pool, and Squeeze's Up the Junction plays...another good add to make! (granted you catch them all in a mixtape, but it's a good one) More
