Octopussy (1983) Octopussy was the Bond producer’s reaction to Raiders of the Lost Ark – they wanted a grand adventure story which would catapult Bond into the 80s and make sure he kept up with the pace set by Indy. So why then, in anyone’s idea of competitive, did they decide to dress Bond as a clown? The costume only goes to serve as a representation of how Octopussy stands–up next to serial-adventure classic Raiders; embarrassing and laughable. |
