Goldfinger (1964) Goldfinger is almost unanimously recognised as the best Bond film. It has all the ingredients that have become synonymous with Bond; the locales, the car, the girls and the gadgets, but there is a large oversight by many which although shouldn’t taint the memory of the whole film, doesn’t half make one cringe. Yes, I’m talking about the hat he's wearing playing golf with Goldfinger. Frank Sinatra is cool. Bond is cool. Bond doing a Sinatra impression is really not cool. |
