The Many Looks Of The Bond Villain | Brad Whitaker (Joe Don Baker)
Brad Whitaker (Joe Don Baker)

Film: The Living Daylights (1987)

Style: Unusually, rather than an evil genius and/or sophisticated urbanite, arms dealer Whitaker is a redneck militarist idiot with a Napoleon complex. He calls himself a general, although he has no right to the title, and the medals on his army surplus threads are fake (or at least, not earned by him). He doesn’t even call Bond “Mister”. How appallingly vulgar.

Plan: In cahoots with KGB traitor Koskov, he plans to trade stolen diamonds for opium in a deal with the Mujahideen in Afghanistan, and use the profits to supply arms to Russia. Or something.

Best Line: "Too bad, Bond: you could have been a live rich man instead of a poor dead one."

7 Octopussy?
Technically speaking, Octopussy would've been the first female Bond villain. It's really a fine line as she was working with Kamal Khan at the same being an ally/love interest to Bond. Still, Elektra is the first full-on female villain. More

8 Stromberg's webbed!
Not many people know this but Curt Jurgen's Karl Stromberg character has webbed hands! The hands are only really noticeable if you see the movies in theaters or watch it on an HDTV. Otherwise, if you watch it on DVD on a standard TV, you'll have to zoom in or freeze frame to really spot them. They're perhaps most noticeable when they show a closeup of his hands pushing the button that leads to his secretary's death. More
