Delightfully riffing matinee-era screamfests, Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie had a special Comic-Con trailer and this, a ‘30s B-movie homage that made our eyeballs want to high-five each other. Burton always gives ace poster and Frankenweenie ain’t bucking that trend.

Saw the poster and thought it was Ryan Reynolds ( oh dear God no!) but then saw it was actually Colin Farrell....oh dear God no! BTW a classic movie that should never be remade because, unlike Dredd and countless others, its original was not a ton of shite. And its bloody Colin Farell! Besides for IN BRUGES, he is shit, don't believe me - i double dare you to watch ALEXANDER and not stab a fork into your eye! More
