37 Of Film's Best Foot Chases | Enemy Of The State
Enemy Of The State

Released: 1998
Directed: Tony Scott
Starring: Will Smith, Seth Green

If only all chase scenes involved an unintentional strip show to an elderly Asian couple and a hotel almost burning to the ground… then that would get pretty boring pretty fast, but as it’s just The Enemy Of The State that’s done it so far, we’re probably in the clear.

22 Where the hell is Seven?
"Plus, got to leave one out otherwise there'd be nothing to talk about, right?" You don't leave out Seven, that's nearly as bad as if you'd left out Point Break. Shocking!!!! More

23 Death Sentence?
Where's the chase through the car park from this? Whatever you think about the film (for the record, I think it's pretty good), it's a fantastic sequence. More

Surely the scene from Bottle Rocket where Dignan is chased by the cops. With Rollings Stones '2000 Man' it's pretty gripping and emotional. More

26 Quantum of Solace
So people don't like this one as much because the name is too confusing, or something. But it might be my favorite Bond, and his chase of Mitchell is great. Chase through the sewers all the way through the streets and onto a bell tower? amazing. More

27 Heat
Heat is, of course, a fantastic foot chase but I decided not to put it in because it had too much shooting (see also Lethal Weapon and Gibson vs. Busey) and not enough running and suchlike. Definitely was in our longlist, but was cut out. Sorry about that! As for Se7en, well, Se7en should be in there but honestly I couldn't find my goddamn DVD of it anywhere. Plus, got to leave one out otherwise there'd be nothing to talk about, right? Right? *cough* More
