District B13

Released: 2004
Director: Pierre Morel
Starring: David Belle

The plot for this film could easily be explained with a grunt, but there’s no denying District B13’s action chops, with almost every scene hurtling along at breakneck speed. This is a great example of just that, showing our protagonist David Belle – one of the other founders of Parkour – as he catapults across Paris like a man repeatedly blasting himself out of a cannon.

22 Where the hell is Seven?
"Plus, got to leave one out otherwise there'd be nothing to talk about, right?" You don't leave out Seven, that's nearly as bad as if you'd left out Point Break. Shocking!!!! More

23 Death Sentence?
Where's the chase through the car park from this? Whatever you think about the film (for the record, I think it's pretty good), it's a fantastic sequence. More

26 Quantum of Solace
So people don't like this one as much because the name is too confusing, or something. But it might be my favorite Bond, and his chase of Mitchell is great. Chase through the sewers all the way through the streets and onto a bell tower? amazing. More

27 Heat
Heat is, of course, a fantastic foot chase but I decided not to put it in because it had too much shooting (see also Lethal Weapon and Gibson vs. Busey) and not enough running and suchlike. Definitely was in our longlist, but was cut out. Sorry about that! As for Se7en, well, Se7en should be in there but honestly I couldn't find my goddamn DVD of it anywhere. Plus, got to leave one out otherwise there'd be nothing to talk about, right? Right? *cough* More
