Movies are great for romance: a well-chosen date movie can get your relationship off to a flying start, and a good movie snog can be just the thing to get you moving in for a first kiss. But what about the bad movie snogs? Here are some of the least successful clinches in cinema history, and our attempt to explain what went wrong.

L: Oli Monkey The added sound FX on Arwen, Aragorn kiss is very funny. sound FX was unwanted granted, but I actually like that kiss - Viggo acts brilliantly in the few seconds prior because he expected her to be dead. what's so wrong with passion - if you want awkward kisses how about McGillis and Ford, he looks like he's sucking the life out of her - lucky girl in a way - But still!
