Also: 'B is for Blightly'. Burton, a full-fledged Anglophile, is often found in London, either filming - Frankenweenie is currently in pre-production at Three Mills Studios, while Dark Shadows will shoot at Pinewood - or hanging out at his Hampstead home. He's got an eye for British telly, too, and tastes that are, well, a bit surprising. "I've been living in England for many, many years and I'm a huge EastEnders fan," he says, while revealing an even more surprising inspiration for Alice's White Queen: "Nigella Lawson is really beautiful Don't be surprised to see all this cooking, but then there's this glint in her eye and when you see it you go, 'Oh, whoa, she's, like, really nuts.' I mean in a good way. Well, maybe. I don't know." Basically, don't be surprised to see John Torode and Gregg Wallace pop up among Dark Shadows' undead.

2 Make us a film please Tim?

The Batman films Tim did were always the best. I always used to read the Batman graphic novels and later there was a Robin set also. It would be good if Tim could make a Robin film, the kind of dark, gothic look would be perfect and you could count on it being well made. The film would write itself virtually and im sure plenty of people would go see it. Hope for it by 2011ish, sure it will make a packet :-) Read More
